Ive got a feeling BJS is getting KTFO against Lemieux

I just don’t see where Murray goes now. Really feel for him. He’s a tough fight for anyone, but he’s high risk low reward opponent. He’s knocking on too and he’s been in a war with both GGG and Groves. He seems to be focusing on local interests like opening gyms etc so i personally think that’s he’s preparing for a transition into retirement. Would have loved nothing more than to see him bring a world title to St Helens but he’s still achieved so much in the sport.

 

Took the words right out my mouth..Murray is a true warrior and an all round decent bloke..he always gave it his all always turned up to fight...will be weird when he retires, been following his career for years now!

 

Yeah, Murray is/was a great fighter and I agree he seems a great bloke, so close to a world title for the most part outboxing Martinez in his backyard in Argentina and drawing with Sturm. I, too, can't really see where he can go from here. Personally, I'd like to see him against Degale, but it may not be a popular opinion...

 

If Degale wants to fight again surely it must be against Truax?

Let's be honest as poor as he was he actually didn't lose by that much and I'd expect him to win handily if has anything left, I really think he thought it was too easy and wasn't 100% mentally on the job.

I am actually quite disappointed a lot of brits are saying Billy doesn't want Jacobs, and it's basically up to Billy to make the fight.

Even Hearn thinks the money isn't there from either side but fans are saying Jacobs is a boogeyman who doesn't have to make any consessions to make the fight. Seems like GGGs midas touch is rubbing off on Jacobs.

Personally I think Jacobs gets cleaned up by Billy, he is just too chinny and he would get the Andy Lee treatment but worse because Billy is much fitter now.

 

If Saunders has not ran, moved, he would have gotten knocked out, but he stayed away and boxed, sometimes actually running..................but he did not get caught with the big punch.............Golovkin easily knocked Lemieux out!!!

Lomachenko moves his feet, but he also fights, takes chances...................Saunders had to move and he knew it.....................Golovkin did not move much against Lemiuex, but he stayed in the pocket and boxed, he knocked Lemieux down and out easily, Saunders could not do that, he could not take a chance, but he probably does not have the chin of Golovkin either, still, Golovkin avoided Lemieux's punches by moving, using angles, counter punching.................Golovkin's punches hurt Lemieux badly, they will hurt Saunders also, Golovkin is not Lemieux, I can't understand why so many think that Golovkin would be an easier fight than Lemieux? Their skill level is not the same at all.......................cutting the ring off is one of Golovkin's stong points, when he gets there he makes the fighter pay...................Saunders is afraid of Jacobs and Charlo.......................why is that? Of course Charlo beat a cripple...................perhaps that's what scared him? Pirog knocked Jacobs out......................Golovkin knocked Jacobs down and later staggered him with a left jab! Will Saunders fight Mikey Mouse next?

This is why I rarely look on the general forum.

 

I like Murray but worry with his style he could get badly hurt because he's not the same fighter anymore. Does seem a top bloke but I wish he would retire now he's never going to beat anyone Euro level or above anymore. Has been very unlucky not to win a world title, we have had many world champions not as good as he was. Always wanted him to head line a big show at St Helens Stadium (maybe because I used go live 10 minutes from it lol) but sadly that's unlikely to happen now.

Lol no my now wife lived over in Ashton so when he shacked up together I moved over there to live with her. Good thing about the place was they charge 1990s prices for a pint over that way.
