I think Fury wins on points unless Rahman is completly finished then Fury manages to stop him late. Its a great undercard fight, also including Hattons lot on the card plus Khan vs Mcloskey its great all round.
Rahman seems pretty close to shot these days, though. I know he's been picking up knockouts but against pretty low guys, his hip is meant to be pretty knackered and he hasn't been in genuine top shape since 2006. I agree that it'd be a bit of a surprise to see him make the fight at such short notice. But if he does, I think Fury can outwork him pretty descively.
It all depends how shot Rahman is? Fury has never struck me as an intelligent fighter - both Mcmuffin fights show that (in 2 he was lucky to get through that after gassing) I just cant see Fury being cute enough to outpoint Rahman unless he is totally shot and can totally dominate him
This is a great step up in class for YOUNG fury,at only 22 years,he has already beaten the likes of Mcdermott (x2) Ellis,Belshaw,Swaby and undefeated guys in Rich power & Nascimento,He Became English champion on his 8th fight (My scorecard had Mcdermott has the winner). He is 6ft 9in and weighs around the 261lb mark, still only young, still a bit fleshy but has alot of potential on becoming a world CHAMP!!! Fury takes Rahman in the mid rounds, around the 6th,He will want to make a statement here,Former world champion, once conquer of Lennox Lewis (Uk greatest ever Heavyweight,Barr none).. Very good fight choice for Fury and i say Fair Play...Altho he talks **** most of the time,he puts bums on seats, his getting notice and will earn a few quid from this hard hard business.
