I really think that he is going to hurt Chavez, badly. Chavez is underestimating his so badly it's unbelievable.

This will be a long, sustained, one-sided beating.

    War Sergio!

Martinez by clear ud. 9-3 or 8-4. Late stoppage if Chavez is as weight drained as people have been saying.
Of course there's also the possibility of a robbery.

Think Chavez is too much of a plodder to put enough effective pressure on SM and will eat plenty of right hooks, jabs and straight stabbing lefts. Cant see him landing more than one punch at a time as I expect SM's movement to be effective.

Martinez needs a knockout to win this fight.

There's simply no way he's getting a decision.

I hope it is a sustained one sided beating and I agree with BB that Sergio needs the knockout, uncle Bob and the WBC have the robbery already arraged.

This is what I'm wondering about. How outrageous a decision are they willing to render? If SM wins about 7-8 rounds and some of them are close I can definately see a dodgy verdict. But if Martinez Lacey's him will they still rob him?

I think he probably needs to win ten rounds.... but ten wasn't enough for Juan Manuel Marquez, or Richard Abril, against Arum fighters.

This is a different kettle of fish altogether though, it's Jose Sillyman's GODSON :yikes

If Martinez does drop him, we might see something akin to the Beijing Olympics, when a poor African lad who had his ribs caved in was helped off the floor by the referee, when clearly not able to continue.

Needs to be a one-punch KO jobby.
