    [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Ndou targets Mundine!
By Ray Wheatley -- World of Boxing
Former IBF 140 pound champion Lovemore Ndou has challenged former WBA 168 pound champion Anthony Mundine to a ten round bout at middleweight poundage. "I am now boxing as a welterweight but would be prepared to give away weight and fight Anthony Mundine at the middleweight limit of 160 pounds," Ndou stated. "Mundine dodged meeting Mikkell Kessler in a rematch and gave up his world title when he was ordered to defend the championship by the WBA against Kessler. When he was champion he always boxed opponents who were ranked very low in the ratings. I have boxed Mundine in the gym when I was only a lightweight and still held my own against him. Now I am a fully fledged 147 pound fighter I am confident I can defeat him."

Sad thing is Mundine would probably accept this challenge and try to pass it off as a legit risk. Eugh..

I think Lovemore has lost the plot a bit here...i mean if Mundine was a Welter or smaller Junior Middle at most maybe...

someone like hurricane hank may have pulled it off if he was a division bigger. (his titles stopped at welter). but lovemore aint no armstrong..

i still think mundine is kidding himself if he thinks he'll be strong at middle.

'Hurricane Henry' or 'Homicide Hank' , he also beat the Middleweight Champ but in a non title fight, then drew for the title.

Mundine should call himself 'the cherry picker' rather than 'The Man'

fellows look between the lines ........

    ndou ...baits
kosta ... for pay day ...no go
hatton ...for pay day ...no go .
his last foe ..gets rematch comes up short......no pay day .....

with no disrespect to any as my comments are not ment to offend....
    but
he must target fighters for payday as no one will fight him in ratings ...
he has nothing t0o offer these days .....but was a great talent.......

now he must look for a pay day.......who else ......

Sounds like the circus is coming to town again!

The only way to stop crud like this being thrown up is not turning up.

It's about bums on seats. When the money stops the b-s will stop being served up to us!

Exactly Linc, Lovemore is coming to the end of his career and is looking the cash out.

He will next call out the winner of Hoppa-Bob I bet.

I think he's already called out Hop in the past.

Called out Les Mason as well.

i dont think people mind lovemore chasing a quid. its more that they are sick of mundine fighting "east beats" and claiming to be 'boxings bradman'...

the last thing we want to see is an excuse for mundine to take another easy fight......so 'shut the **** up lovemore'..
