    Juan Manuel Marquez is.

    That's a shame. Even if Murray does win, he won't be a real world champion.

    Just like with Burns vs Katsidis its a legit fight agaisnt a world class operator. plus Marquez wont be defending those belts.

    Not arguing about the quality of the opposition.

    I didn't realise we were accepting that the WBA can have 2 legitimate world champions at one weight now.

    OK I'm being pedantic, but if this is a genuine world title fight then Marquez needs to be stripped of his title first.

    That's the problem with the WBA. 2, 3 or even 4 "champions" at the same time...
    A bigger problem is that most of the boxers and promoters let the WBA get away with that crap, promoting and threating it as a "real" world title.

    That said, it won't make any difference for Murray whatsoever...

    Murray's fighting a world class guy that's the main thing but i agree with Steel's POV on this. But i'm sure soon Rios or Murray would be upgraded like Burns to full champion in coming months.
