Mosley won the fight. Tim Smith of the NY Daily News had it as I did. Cotto ran, like he ran tonight. I don't like it when PBF does it, and I don't like it when Cotto does it.

To those of you saying that Clottey was faking the leg injury, watch the replay that HBO shows at the end of the fight where they show all the dramatic points of the fight. After the fall when Cotto steps back he accidentally steps directly on Clottey's ankle. I think it was a legitamite injury

    Nice avatar.

I did have a huge amount of respect for him -- he has some of the best timing in the sport.

Tonight, he punked himself and the sport.

In the 12th round, he loaded up the back of the head shot. Total bush league BS. Same with the low blow. He's a joke now to me. Skilled, but not as good as I thought and a dirty SOB who's getting gifts as a cash cow for HBO.

You don't take a point from someone in the 12th round when the low blow was an isolated incident and the the punching in the back of the head was Clottey's fault. Cotto wasn't warned once for low blows (because he didn't throw any) in the first 11 rounds, so why ruin a good fight by deducting a point for someone's first infraction? As for the punching behind the head... to me it looked like Cotto had already started to throw and Clottey somehow got turned around. There was no malicious intent on Cotto's part; it was clearly an accident. What do you expect a fighter to do when they're winding up and the other guy's momentum somehow gets him turned around? Great job by the referee tonight. Clottey has no one to blame but himself for not pulling out the victory.

No matter how you cut it
You do not turn your back on an opponent
You do not duck down below the waist

If you get rabbit punched for doing either of these things its your own fault

   .

and let me add. Running?? what i saw was someone hampered with a very bad cut desperately trying not to do anything stupid(i.e stand in range where clottey can fire that right hand, which cotto couldnt see coming).

Ofcourse, the keyboard warriors are very tough and their opinion is well taken.

Clotty was lazy and just on defense from rounds 10 to 12. No wonder Cotto got some of those rounds.

, just as he did against Mosley and Margo. He ran the last, what, 5-6 rounds of this fight. Running, posing, potshotting. It's ****, and should not be rewarded. I'm consistent -- I say the same thing about PBF. It's garbage.

I don't want to hear that bull**** cuts happen all the time in boxing.:deal Williams was cut badly the 1st round against Phillips he could have ran as well but stopped Phillips. The cut excuse is a weak one stop using it.
