that was robbery. ive seen some fights where it was close...but tonight...it wasnt. Hoya/PBF was close but i had that 8-4 mayweather...7-5 maybr and 6-6 being REALLY GENEROUS.....but this was roberry....no doubt you can see the experinerce and power.... this is bull****.
It pisses me off too, it would of been a great way to end a magnificent career. Erik made his statement, i just hope he retires now.
I would have loved to have seen EM go out a winner while winning another championship. I want him to fight a journeyman for his last fight so that he can go out a winner...he deserves it.
I am crying first Marquez, now this...You cannot rob Erik. I didnt see the fight if I do see it and he was truly jobbed I will be very upset. First the fat boys break up, now this.
If the decision of a boxing match is the first thing to make you cry in your life you should probably seek counseling and sensitivity training. I'm hearing that it was pretty close - when fighters lose close fights you can't scream robbery. You can say "the scores were too wide". But if it was at all close, and nobody seems to think it wasn't, robbery is not appropriate terminology.
Nobody is literally crying..lol. It is like your favorite team losing the big game type of cry. Not physical. lol. were are not being literal. :rofl
The OP claims to have never literally cried but to have done so tonight. That's a bit detailed for a figurative expression.
I cried literally b/c I had 2 grand on the line when the lakers beat portland with that damned robert horry that I wanted to shoot...****. I mean, I stopped betting on sports after that. I did cry though, I was drunk, high and emotional and got carried away. ****, still mad about that.
Now, I haven't seen any vid of this fight...or even read a round-by-round. I'm just going on a bunch of people saying it should have been a close win for Morales, and a handful saying they had it close for Diaz (and one or two saying Morales dominated) - but saying it's a robbery is a strong statement. When you were scoring rounds for Morales, how much of it was objective analysis of the actual events in the ring and how much of it was emotional? I'm guessing most of the people calling foul here are diehard EM fans.
i am HARDCORE Morales fan. but this wasnt close. i wasnt worried for morale. diaz landed hard punches but when EM landed it was waaaaay more effective. when you guys see this...morale had this. iv felt emotional after fights....and im drunk right now...but this is easy to juddge
do you mean that you weren't worried about diaz as a KO threat, or did you really think that there was absolutely no way he could win on points? i hate to bust out 'don't let it go the judges' and 'take the belt from the champion' cliches, especially not having seen it, but..
