I've never seen Lomachenko so angry at another fighter, article explaining why

    Loma just usually has this huge level of cocky confidence going into a fight and he never seems to be angry at the other fighter. I've literally followed the buildup of all his pro fights and there is usually a level of respect or some competitive spirit but its been standard.

    But Lomachenko is pissed at Lopez! And this was even before the fight was scheduled, I remember him making remarks about Teofimo that I was like : wow, where is this coming from?

    Apparently there is an article about Lopez's father cursing Lomachenko out before the Pedraza fight in which Lopez was on the undercard:

    Which kind of explains it. But I do wonder, is Loma the same fighter when he's angry and emotional? I've never seen him like this, just makes this fight even more interesting in my mind.

    To me it seems like playing with a grenade to poke a world class guy like Loma. Sure, I guess you could throw him off his game. But you could also get your son Ernie Terrelled ...

    Lopez dad is attention seeking nobody. Lopez is nobody, even if he will defeat Loma, he is too green and too selfish to keep tittles for long time.
    Just two nobodies, and YES, Lopez and his father are nonames.
    Simple attention seeking. WoW, how much clicks they might get in internet media?

    The bad blood is real. Which makes 10/17 that much more special. I really hope Lomachenko schools the kid and humiliates him and knocks him out.

    Wow, nice read. I was on the fence on who I wanted to win this, but I'm going all in on Lomachenko. Hopefully Lomachenko Jeff Lacie's Teofemale, so we never hear from him and his stupid dad again, just like we barely hear from Angel the fool Garcia anymore and Robert Garcia's dad.

    And I laughed at this comment by Lopez's dad:
    “They thought I was going to hit him or something. I just told him those words, and I just left, and they made a big, big thing out of it.”

    Delusions of Grandeur at its finest. Is he aware that the only thing that stopped Loma from ending his life is that Loma is a nice guy who wants to be a law abiding citizen.

    At least Angel Garcia can be funny sometimes, whereas that grotesque cue-ball head creep Lopez Sr. is just an immensely unlikeable and disrespectful vile POS with zero redeeming qualities.

    He wasn't anywhere near as unlikeable as Lopez Sr. from what I remember of him which admittedly isn't much now

    Yeah, sometimes Robert Guerreros's (that's who I meant to say) antics seemed tongue in cheek, especially his interactions with Floyd Sr. Lopez Sr seems like a vile human from the little I've read about him here. It's a good thing someone like him is all bark, because he would abuse any "bite" even worse than Chisora who I thought was boxing's biggest nutter.

    I found the ''woman beater'' freak out stuff at the press conference amusing but I don't ever recall thinking he was a nasty person like Lopez Sr. is.


    These comments of his flew under the radar

    'But Lopez Sr. has no doubt about the outcome.

    “Two years ago I told people that we were going to take Lomachenko's head off, because he is a lying champion. He has never faced a fighter like my son. We come very hungry. We are Indians, we come from the pure blood of the Indians and we are going to show Latin America that the Indians are more powerful than the Europeans," Lopez Sr. told George Ebro.

    “In March or April of 2020, we will end Lomachenko and we will end him in less than five rounds. I teach my son a style that is not styled in boxing: stay in front of the opponent, pick off the punches and use the fists of the opponent to our advantage. The only one I've seen who has done it is Floyd Mayweather.

    "God is putting us in the right fights. After this [fight with Lomachenko] we can fight at 140 pounds. And if he beats Lomachenko, he can be considered the number one pound per pound in the world. We are going to do it."

    Yeah, (I hate to bring politics into this but) I think Trump already proved that if you are a dislikeable person you need some charisma other wise no one will root for you.

    Good, he's looked in cruise control lately like just going through the motions… Be nice to see a fire lit under his arse.. hopefully he's been chomping at the bit to get back

    Lopez Sr. definitely has a lot of hate in his black little heart. Angel Garcia is on coke half the time and is overall harmless. I love Angel! You can tell he's an awesome guy to hang with.
