I've said it once and I'll say it again...the US is the WORST place to fight

So in short, you have no clue, and essentially nothing to support your claim...cool, understood.

Bad (paid judge) happens in every country. Gift decisions from other countries aren't shown but when one does happen in the US it is usually broadcast around the world.

I believe its bad all over i have seen bad decisions in ever country. England is not too bad really but every now and then i have seen some huge robberies. Germany and the u.s the same. I dont think we will ever stop it.

The highest profile robberies happen in the US, the judges should be more isolated from the world and kept anonymous, this is the way to start a change.

One interesting thing about so many of the robberies is that there's always one judge who scores the fight correctly, or certainly in line with how the vast majority of fight fans would have done. Which makes me think two judges are always bought and paid for at each of these fights. It is sickening, it is transparent, and the fact it can happen in Las Vegas, supposedly a site "neutral" enough to give every fighter a fair shake, just makes it worse.

Teddy Atlas said not long ago that every time a fighter is robbed of a decision, he has to take thousands more punches just to recover his same position in the fight game. I really hope all corrupt promoters, judges, and referees think really hard about that, and start choosing to do the right thing for ALL fighters.

I overall get you jist and kind of agree with you, but in Thailand a mainstream fight is only mainstream if a Thai's fighting and the same in Japan.

And for the record Thai guys aren't that skinny, they are usually pretty bulky in bulid and heavy at their weights and I give alot of attention to Thai fighters. You see some way better scraps in Asia than you do on many big time US undercards.

    Rios-Abril was in Mexico, OP.

I think it's more about the structure allowing those in power within institutions (local commissions, promoters, etc.) on all scales to abuse their authority, rather than location.

Yeah its actually far worse in Thailand than it is in the US. Gamblers run everything over there.
