I've seen Floyd Jr in his prime and Roy Jr in his prime.

Roy was, athletically, above and beyond anybody I've ever seen or likely will ever see. But technically, he was extremely flawed. That's part of what makes him so incredible to watch.

Mayweather, technically, is light years above Roy. But he lacks the eye popping "wow" factor of Roy.

When Roy was peaking he reminded me of a boxing Michael Jordon. Floyd's is impressive but he's no Jordan...he lacks the Razzle Dazzle :p

I have a hard time saying Roy Jones was extremely flawed when even great boxers couldn't expose those flaws. His skills were based on his reflexes and just because he wasn't orthodox doesn't mean he wasn't highly skilled. Contrary to popular belief their are fights where he would change his game up and keep his opponents confused as hell. There is a reason fighters punch output would go way down when they were in the ring with Roy. Does he have the fundamentals of a James Toney or Mayweather. No. But he was highly skilled and it took mad skills to do what Roy did.

    Jones was more athletic.

    Mayweather is the better boxer.

Boxrec has them listed as 155 and 156 respectively.

    That's not the point however.
