I've watched both Pac vs JMM and Pac vs Cotto in slowmo.

At the very least I think he's much more confident with his right hand now. He leads more often with it with a hook (his jab still isn't very good IMO) and he gets some nice counter in using his right. Now, what's hard to say is if he's was able to use his right more because he was against opposition less skilled than Marquez. It's hard to say...

Wow, funny you say this because this morning I was watching Pac vs Cotto and Pac vs Barrera in reverse and I came to the conclusion that Pac has vastly improved and that everything looks funnier when it goes backwards, like Barrera falling upward instead of downward and Cotto looks better as fight goes on instead of worse.

Well it was known Pacquiao was the better fighter p4p before, the thing is that people thought because he was smaller he was going to lose to the bigger stronger guys. But he grew well to the 140-147 pound range and was able to apply what he did in the lower weights to bigger slower guys while he gained strenght and power. On top of that, he has improved on the way he uses his angles, his right hand, how he executes the game plan, etc.

Marquez, Morales and Barrera> Hoya, Hatton and Cotto. The weight has made Pac stronger.Roach said " he punches harder".The speed is still there a problem for slower Jnr ww-WW.AND Pacquioa has a right. I agree I thought he hasnt really improved technically....The 3 PAc beat ain't as good as people think.

Pac did kinda go back to his old style against cotto instead of being a boxer like his previous 3 fights before.

What you need to see is Cotto's fights from 3 years ago and post Mosley Cotto. Very different fighter since Mosley

Manny can knock you down with the right hand now. I don't think he had that when he was fighting Marquez. Everything was a set up for his left.
