Jüergen Bräehmer: The Grizzled German Light Heavyweight Stalwart-The Wizened Warrior

Jüergen Bräehmer is a 5'11.5 36 year old Light Heavyweight with a 46-2 34 KO's record. Born in Stralsund, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. This 16 year veteran is pretty much the Light Heavyweight Southpaw version of Felix Sturm, he rarely leaves the comforts of home, in fact only once to fight in Hungary, but unlike Sturm he's performed at a slightly more consistent level, thus far he's only lost 2 matches one of which was a razor close decision to fellow countryman Veit who he KO'd in the rematch and the other to Garay of Argentina. He's never had a great signature win but he's had many decent ones, he's consistent enough to merit a little more respect than what he receives, he's a solid contender. Another observation of mine is ironically he is one of the least popular of Germany's stars, yet he is the only that is an actual native of Deutschland, Sturm (Catic) is Serbian, Stieglitz (Shtikhlits) is Russian and Abraham (Abrahamyan) is Armenian. While he may never be that big a star in his homeland and most likely never leave to fight outside of it, he may end up being an opponent for Stevenson or Sergey in the future. So Check Out Bräehmer in Action, he's deserves some recognition.
