    Brähmer is knifing up with the right jab to get Maccarinelli stepping back and then doubling up on the power left hand lead. Clap-down rights from outside by Maccarinelli, mostly washing up on the shoulders of Brähmer. Maccarinelli's right eye is horribly swollen. BIG left hands from outside by Brähmer. Maccarinelli is trying for a hook around the side of the head but can't find Brähmer ducking in and hiding his chin behind his left glove. Maccarinelli is rocked into the ropes by a left hand. Brähmer falls in throwing another left hand and bounces off Maccarinelli's chest, onto the canvas. Slip, no punch. Short hook in the clinch by Maccarinelli. Brähmer backs him up with the right jab rowing out slowly, crab-walking after Maccarinelli.

    Kovalev would brutalize him in noncompetitive fashion, but then he would do the same to most at the weight. Brähmer is a top 4 or 5 h2h light heavy, for me...but Kovalev is way ahead of the pack.
