Also, having the names Afolabi and Lebedev in there sort of forced my brain in that direction...you would usually free-associate Huck with those guys, not Haye. :yep

Culcay is jabbing and high-blocking, chasing Larbi around the ring and tickling his ribs with light flurries. Larbi is scooting out, twisting and shimmying and trying to catch shots on his elbows and lower extremities. Larbi hops away fluttering several jabs, brushing Culcay's hair with them.

Culcay is landing jabs and upward rolling 1-2s, flinching back out of range before Larbi's drawbridge counter jab can descend. Culcay is countering with hooks and rights, batting Larbi's head around when Larbi chances giving up the height and falling in with a plunging 1-2.

Round 10

Culcay is firing jabs and digging uppercuts into the chest moving forward. Larbi jumps outside and stretches out the left jab, trying to aim at the face of Culcay as it rises and falls with his bobbing and springing. Culcay is circling and ducking in under Larbi's 1-2, getting scrubbed atop the head with a few jabs but scoring light straight body shots.

Anyway, that sequence of a couple dozen unanswered bombs from Sukhotsky actually proves the opposite IMO. Brähmer was never too badly troubled by any one shot, it was just that Sukhotsky never let up and hurled the kitchen sink at him. By the clinch nearly half a minute after the assault started Brähmer had eaten loads of hard punches, many of them head-snapping uppercuts, and still just seemed to be waiting for Sukhotsky to finish.

Impressive extended combo from Sukhotsky, FWIW.

 

Round 11

Culcay is throwing high jabs, moving around Larbi in undulating motions up and down and throwing light flurries on the body while threading around the counter jab of Larbi. Culcay finally presses in with a sustained attack in the last minute, reaching up with left hooks on the jaw and putting rights behind them to drive Larbi into the ropes. Larbi answers back with jabs and straight combos as Culcay quiets down and covers up to block.
