Brähmer is circling and jabbing, then propelling himself inside with left uppercuts to the body leading into clinches. Oliveira is loading up his right hand and mistiming as Brähmer pops in for an up-and-down straight combo before darting out.

Brähmer is stalking Oliveira, who is now slouching into a gorilla stance, fists below his knees and shoulders gone slack with legs wide apart. Brähmer is flicking in right jabs at the uncovered face of Oliveira, who seems to be hoping to rely on head movement and U-shaped torso rolls with only limited success. Oliveira is rocked by a right hook and has to hold. Very little firepower from Oliveira now as Brähmer commands the role of aggressor.

Undefeated, and has knocked out some passing fair names. (but, tellingly, held to a MD by super-journeyman Rayco Saunders)

This kid is no bum and Brähmer is making him out to be one.

 

Round 6

Brähmer is moving inside and scoring with quick right jabs, then leaning into Oliveira and working off the left uppercut downstairs. When done, Brähmer launches himself out into the atmosphere leaving Oliveira holding the bag. Oliveira follows with goal posts up and tries laying a jab on Brähmer, finding him ghostlike on the outside and too slippery (and busy) up close.

Brähmer is landing big left uppercuts on the face as Oliveira leans over. Brähmer flashes quick double right jabs on the way in, bypassing the few slow left jabs of Oliveira - and then has his way with Oliveira on the inside. Low blow by Brähmer. Oliveira takes a minute to recover. Time in. Jabs by Brähmer. End round.

Master class. Reminds me of Rigondeaux vs. Agbeko a bit. (different style but similar dynamic playing out - untouchable southpaw champ putting on a counter punching clinic on a game and heavily muscled but totally befuddled orthodox challenger)

Brähmer is slicing and dicing Oliveira with the right jab and left uppercut, combining varying multiples of each and from different angles. Brähmer is mixing in body work liberally. Oliveira is hit low and takes a moment. Time in. Oliveira is putting his face down into Brähmer's scapula and holding on, barely punching back.

Brähmer is making Oliveira tuck chin and parachute in with high 1-2s. Short left hands blasted on the face by Brähmer as Oliveira tries imposing himself physically to either shove Brähmer back or hold him still. Brähmer is yanking the left fist out far behind his back and drilling it home. Brähmer is setting up his left crosses with unseen right jabs, sneaking them in quickly after feints as they're moving apart. Oliveira is doing nothing to fight back, just blocking or leaning in and clinching. Zero output. BIG upward left hook by Oliveira just before the bell, missing badly.
