Jürgen Brähmer vs. Roberto Feliciano Bolonti RBR

Here we go, pageantry starting. Flag girls in the ring, and men in penguin suits.

 

Halfway decent. Honestly domestic level, not really world. (although in Argentina that means a bit more than in many other countries in S. America, or the rest of the world)

He was legitimately shut out by Tony Bellew, for what that is worth. My card read 120-106 the same as two of the judges. Bolonti was kind of a useless lump that night, kept mostly on defense by a sloppy but aggressive Bellew. He showed pretty sturdy whiskers, though.

Brähmer ought to be able to show off his full arsenal here - and while Bolonti is no feather-fist I don't think he poses any great risk to shock the champ.

 

Round 1

Brähmer is walking Bolonti down with the right jab flicked up from the hip. Bolonti tries a right hand on the belt line and Brähmer hops back, letting it graze only a fleshless pocket of the velour of his trunks. Brähmer is standing virtually side by side with Bolonti in their opposing southpaw and orthodox stances, toes pointed in toward each other. High jabs by Brähmer. Bolonti is rocked into the ropes by a reach-up 1-2 as Brähmer charges. Bolonti steps back, catching a jab on the guard, and begins to roll out his own jab but is quieted by a sudden double-up from Brähmer. Bolonti is walking forward, knees bent, poking out left jabs from a tight guard, applying good pressure. Brähmer is leaned over to his left, neck straight, head sticking out past his shoulder, flipping up backhanded right jabs from outside.
