    I agree, although I don't think Chavez is as tired as he was with Taylor, and I don't think Mayweather is too physical out of it like Taylor. It would be less physical. I remember when that fight happened Taylor said he trained fighting in a circle,and he was faster on the inside, yet Chavez was stronger, so after many rounds HBO specifically did not see the damage Chavez was doing to Taylor (although my friend who was at the fight saw the damage and wondered what fight HBO was seeing). It is amazing how Taylor could have done a few things defensively which could have gotten him 10 more seconds or 5 or whatever the time was left. 3 seconds? I used to know. Taylor was finished and I always thought the stoppage was legit since Steele was not the timekeeper.

    Thanks. I’m not sure I’d favor Chavez at 140 or 147 today (probably wouldn’t) but Floyd is not replicating Taylor at all.

    At the earlier weights I’d say JCC closes the distance.
