good ****, mayweather to me only struggled because he could not stop marquez .that why i was never impressed really.he out boxed him great but he should have tryed harder to stop him, when he knew jmm could not hurt him he should have walked him down like he did zab.

50/50 fight back in the day, now i favor mayweather slightly.im not sure if mayweather can do what winky and forrest did, they were great boxers but there where bigger then shane.

mosley gone have to put that pressure on him, mayweather gone have to box and box to keep shane off of him.he might were down floyd and get beat him on points down the stretch, im still go with mayweather ud maybe even a sd.

Those fighters did have a size advantage. And more than likely strength as well.

If Clubed ( should be s outhpaw so now heavy leg is in front ) foot De La hoya can close the gap on Mayweather Im sure Mosely can as well. UNLESS 38 years of age completely catches up to him , closing the gap on Mayweather wont be a problem.

Cotto outboxed Mosely because Mosely had respect for his power. and when Mosely used power , Cotto boxed. and when Mosely boxed Cotto used power.

Mayweather , I dont believe has the punch to bother Mosely the same way. Mayweather can really only run fast to get away in this one.

As Pimp C claims; Mosely doesnt have the legs to run with Mayweather for 12 rounds:deal

He can punch with Mayweather but he cant run with him. but then again they do play basketball toghether so maybe Mosely can still get it going if need be.

I would like to see Mosely pull off one last great performance.

Mosely didn't respect Cotto's power anymore than he respected Margaritos. He employed the same strategy against both. The difference is that Cotto went backwards and counterpunched, while Mosely came forward, while Margarito walked face first into punch after punch.

And Cotto was neither bigger, nor stronger than Mosely. But he did the smart thing, and chose to box the slugger. Mosely will catch Floyd when Floyd goes to the ropes to rest, and rope-a-dope, and that's about it. And he will struggle to land much clean when that happens.

Somewhat of a good point, but consider the fact that DLH left that fight with somewhat of a swollen eye...he looked a lil ****ed up.

Whereas Floyd looked like he played a nice pickup game on a basketball court.

In a sense though, Floyd's output and movement have dropped quite a bit and he seemed far more hesistant than before against someone he should've easily ****ed up mercilessly...

being 40-0 is taking a toll on him. He got a huge chip on his shoulder bc half of the people there praying that he will lose. If you have to deal with that you would be hesitant too. He got a lot to back up.

It was a sparring match. He'd been out of the ring for nearly two years, so he picked a guy that he knew wasn't a KO threat, and put in a full 12 rounds. Other than a couple of instances there was never a point where Floyd looked like he particularly cared about getting Marquez out of there, or even really hurting him. At the same time he didn't look like he was afraid to throw, he just looked like a guy trying to put in 12 rounds and make sure he could still do everything he thought he could.

After he knocked Marquez down in the 2nd and then backed off and honestly looked concerned that he might end the fight early I kind of guessed what the remaining 10 rounds were going to look like: a glorified sparring session.

And, of course, you have to give Marquez some credit too. He made adjustments and stopped getting caught flush nearly as often. Like Floyd said, he's a cagey guy, and no one yet has managed to keep him down.

I did not see this fight. But neither fighter is looking very bumped and bruised. Mayweather looks clean because he eluded alot of punches from a smaller guy.

Marquez took alot of punches from a bigger guy and looks in relatively good physical condition. Thats kinda sad. And Mayweather must have been a little sad and let down from all of this. He said it on 24/7 that he should knock him out. And if he didnt...

Not only did he NOT knock dude out, He barely bruised him from the looks of this pic.

If you saw the fight his nose was pouring blood. They constantly swabbed the **** out of it with those nose tampons and they all came out with heavy flow.

His eye is a bit puffy...but you're right. If you consider how much damage he's received in other fights (Marquez) and how much damage Floyd's put on other people...this isn't his greatest mug shot :conf

Will Mosely agree to throw that fight if it happens? Void will only fight if he has a guarenteed win.

Anyone that knows anything about boxing, knew from the beggining that Mayweather is safety first.....he's not going to get into a slugging contest if it means he's going to be getting hit.
.......its what makes him hard to beat.

Marquez who imo is just as boxistically skilled as Mayweather, shows the signs that he's been in a fight more often in his fights, because he's not safety first.

Marquez is actually one of those rare very highly skilled boxers who puts mustard in his countershots.
....and because he does that, he will naturally leave himself a bit more vulnerable to getting hit.

Its not secret here that Goosen has an ax to grind against Mayweather, because quite frankly he got royally dry humped by Mayweather when Mayweather took 8 million of his dollars and took off running after the Baldomir fight.
