I change my take from Shane by UD to Shane by KO.

Pac and Floydie are fakking idiots for passing up on the big pay day. If Floyd signs this one, they'll never get that chance of a payday again.

    Shane-Clottey for October.

    I know right.

However did Floyd manage to survive the grand total of 69 punches Marquez landed?

    :-(

mosley always looks excited & in a good mood during his ring walk. before this fight he looked really pissed off. then the announcer said his wife was divorcing him. he definitely had a chip on his shoulder that night

He was hit flush a few times.
I think the most eye catching was when JMM landed a 3 punch combination on him. All 3 punches landed very flush.
I made a thread about that the day after the fight but it seems people didnt notice as stated above. They just saw PBF.
Like i said on the thread i have never seen a 3 punch combo land flush on PBF.

Its so interesting how perceptions can can cloud reality. Floyd looked as sharp as ever in that Marquez fight and the compubox numbers prove it.

    Mayweather / Marquez

    Thrown - 493 / 583

    Landed - 290 / 69

    % - 59 / 12

    Power Punches

    Thrown - 316 / 288

    Landed - 185 / 21

    % - 59 / 7

Looking at the compubox punch stats, how did Mayweather have a hard time again? Mayweather DOMINATED that fight completely. In no way shape or form did this fight resemble DeLaHoya vs. Forbes.

Also a fact check on Dan Goosen statement. He said Marquez was a blown up 126 lb'er and came up like 20 pounds for the fight. Marquez' last two fights were at 135 lb's, both which he won by stoppage. He fought Floyd at a weight of 142, and the catchweight was to be 144. Marquez gained 7 pounds to fight Mayweather.

I've seen many Mayweather fights in which he got hit cleanly. When a guy is throwing 500+ punches at you, a couple are going to land cleanly. I don't understand the point. Additionally, Marquez is on of the most accurate punchers in boxing.

Wrong he didn't get hit by JMM. JMM didn't even land 100 punches on PBF

Yea, he is always playing around. I gotta bet he really picks Mayweather though. He has said countless times that PBF is by far the p4p #1 fighter out there. Maybe Goossen has talked him in to believing in SSM having what it takes though.

Not that my opinion matters, but I got SSM in a very very close decision.

He can't pressure while advancing because Mosley needs to have his feet set in order to get off those 3 and 4 shot combos he loves to throw. Cotto had Shane lost with his basic movement reducing him to throwing 1 punch at a time and following him around the ring and not cutting it off. Just think of what PBF would do to him because his movement is lightyears better and far more complicated than Cotto's not only that he can fight much better off his backfoot than Cotto can. Shane Mosleys' pressure looks effective fighting guys who are there to be hit like Margo but against a slick guy like PBF it won't be nearly as effective. Shane Mosley is nothing more than a flat flooted slugger with good handspeed who can't adjust or deal with a jab or moevment.:deal

Wrong, he did get hit but Floyd just took it like a tap.

JMM from the get go looked hesitant and did not look confident. You think it would be the same against Shane. Floydies probably saying to go ahead and sign the fight but deep inside are shitting their pants.:lol::lol:

Now is the perfect time to prove that nobody 154 and below beats your guy. :deal Shane by KO. But if/when he fights PW at 154, I'll be rooting for Floyd.

The guy landed less than 20% on PBF in boxing that's what you call not getting hit.:deal
Learn how to breakdown fights and tell me how Shane has more advantages in this fight and get back to me.:hi:

Since when did you learn how to break down fights except to say that Floyd beats everybody at 147 easily.

Tell me this after the fight. :deal (if it gets signed).

Right on the button, that dumbass acts like hes some expert on boxing but the only thing he talks about is how great fraud is and how he would beat anyone and that he has a man crush on him.

You just need to look at some of the rare posts he makes that arent about fraud to see how little that novice knows about boxing.
