    This is the issue.

They weren't interested at that point.

Bernard turned down $6m and demanded $10m or no fight.

Joe wouldn't leave Europe or the SMW division, as he was content to defend his lightly regarded WBO belt.

The Tarver win would have been perfect. Or just one more after that in Pensacola, to round it off to a 50-1 record, instead of 49-1.

Even an old Tyson sends RJJ to dream world, and Jones himself knows it.

Too many big punchers at HW for him to stay there, he and his handlers knew it... Which is why they dropped back down after cherry picking a belt from Fraud Ruiz. Lewis, the Klitschkos, Sanders, Rahman, late career Tyson, Holyfield, Golota etc. knock him spark out.

I reckon the one and only issue that I take is that Jones actually beat Tarver in their first match - that’s what makes His one-punch ko loss in the rematch so much more shocking.
If he’d cut the weight and got sparked by Antonio the first time it would’ve made a lot more sense.

You call @bailey the ''King of Spin,'' and the irony of that coming from you of all people is certainly not lost on yours truly, but I'm officially going to start calling you Captain Cringe from now on, Captain Cringe lol

Bro, did you see the list of guys I made he could have beaten? Holy wouldn’t have had a chance at that stage of his career.

I still think Roy beats many of the top 10-20 guys with ease. He’d be too fast for many of them, like Ruiz found out.

It was shocking. It was a beautiful shot. But we saw in the first fight that he wasn't the same fighter. The Johnson knockout was even worse.
