jab and cross to body

Ive always been taught a cross was a right hand over the jab so doing that to the body seems fairly hard. As far as right hands to the body Jones does them alot or Sergia Lycahovick I cant spell him name. Floyd and Oscar are 2 guys that use the jab to the body to set up power shots very well. Also ill say Roy Jones agian I forget who he fought back in the mid 90s believe it was at 168 and Roy threw about 3-4 jabs to the body then feinted a jab to the body and came up with a violent lefthook to dam near kill his opponet.

Difficult to throw a right cross to the body a right cross is a punch thrown over the jab usually a counter punch.. Do you mean a straight right to the body?

 

i love that combo agaist a tall fighter.

theres this guy at my gym very tall that i spar an i connect with that every time.

 

JM Marquez does it a lot.

i like to jab to the body then adda straight right up top.. i throw that a lot and it seems to work for me.

ive also thrown a few straight rights to the ribs under some punches and it works pretty good, but hard to land for me
