Come on now. People overrate Pacquiao way more than they overrate Floyd.

Yeah foreal. How do you beat speed? A jab and timing. Do I need to say more? Not to mention that FLoyd is pretty fast himself

I think you're confused. Castillo didn't win the 2nd fight, but he still gave Floyd a competitive match.

I would say a swarmer that's even better than Castill would be very challenging for FLoyd. Luckily for Floyd, there is no one like that around 140-154.

Well he was more of a true welterweight than Floyd was.

Yeah and the reason is a ) he's very fast and accurate . B ) his opponent is usually very slow by comparison c) his opponent doesnt have a clue how to deal with his style.

Then you have to consider who he's actually fought. It's one thing to look impressive with an over the hill Gatti , but how impressive would he have looked if he Oscar or Mosley were in their prime when he fought them?

Castillo nullified it in their first fight from reseting his offense in an interesting way. he ignored it kept his eyes high and on his toes he landed a fair amount of his own power shots to the body by stalking forward after May's jab 2 the body. u can tell PBFs offense stalled when his jab didnt deter only brought more heat.

Your talking like Floyd isn't Elite....there is not an ELITE today (147 and down) that would be favored over Floyd....what do you mean what they would do to him as if they would run through him or something.

Look whats the deep hate for with you and Floyd?

Wouldnt say he nullified it....he just didnt let it throw him off.

I agree...determination and a strong will is needed when facing Floyd.

I did notice Castillo wouldnt let that keep him at bay either...he would immediately resume tracking Floyd....almost in a dead sprint at times...

To be fair, the jab to the body is a pretty high-risk punch for little reward.

Typically you can see it coming, brace for it, and it puts your opponent in position for a good head counter. Oh and it's just really not that effective.

Doesn't mean it isn't a good tool, but one that has to be used only sporadically.

If you are quick enough and can feint well enough then it's not too dangerous.
