I don't think Adonis cares about getting stripped. He is the lineal champ and brings that to the table, more valuable for the fans watching and less costly (avoiding ABC sanctioning fees).

I've been thinking this for a while now - is Badou Jack the new T Brad? Good all rounder, not exceptional in any one department other than having the balls to face anyone in his division.

 

I know everyone on here hates Adonis but let's be real,
Unless he gets old in the ring (could happen, he is up there in age)
He ices Jack. He's physically stronger, more athletic, quicker, and more power.
Not one person has been able to nullify that left hand either, he clubs with
it and hurts people, he shoots it down the pipe and hurts people. Do you
guys really think Jack can win a shootout with Adonis? Seriously?

The only people that can beat Adonis are Ward and Kovalev, at
least until he hits that age barrier and deteriorates,

 

those who think jack has a chance against Stevenson are probably the same who said fonfara had a good chance for the upset in the rematch

 

He has an excellent chance. Any good contender has a chance when his opponent is 40.

I'm a Jack fan but unfortunately he's not that young, he's 34, younger than Stevenson though.

 

Yet again people are sleeping on Jack and yet again I think he's going to get the W. Adonis is old and comes from 168 himself. I think Froch would of weather a few heavy blows, took him late and then drowned him in the deeper waters.

Luckily for the pimp he got to ice the ghost of Sad Chad and then defend against guys not named Ward, Kovalev or Beterbiev. I mean, hell he even found a way to not fight Pascal in a big domestic showdown!

 

clearly froch wasnt has confident since he clearly ducked his mandatory Stevenson at the time...kessler sent Stevenson back after 1 week of sparring because it was too much lmao.i like Jack but he is out of his league here one good left would finish him come one we are talking about a guy that barely beat a shot bute and a guy like degale manage to put him on his ass.

 

I saw jack get clocked round one , minute one, almost second one by edwards. Pimp is throwing hay makers, Jacks chin is questionable.

I generally dont pick punchers over boxers, but jack is not a particularly exceptional boxer or exceptional at anything really.

Pimp gets him out of there.

 

I like Jack and hope he wins, but if Stevenson is still at his usual level that straight left will almost certainly stop Jack. But the Pimp may suddenly become old, nothing's a given at age 40.
