both or them are average (struck out because not fair) "just good" fighters (caterall and kambosos). Even if caterall won this fight (and I honestly think he did) I strongly doubt that he could win a rematch at all. Same for kambosos, he stands no chance vs teo defending his belts properly and not like a clown. Both of them are "just good". Nothing special in them. Being "just good" is OK, though, not everybody can be elite, by definition.
I honestly dont like their boxing at all. I find their boxing pretty ordinary, sorry, I cant help it. I see nothing special in them, nothing at all. Imho they both lucked out with their oponent's preparation/lack of seriousness defending their belts. I cant see caterall winning a rematch under any circumstance. Well, maybe a taylor heart stroke? but nothing else. Taylor is not p4p in my eyes, but he's way better than caterall. Bad fights happen (for a lot of reasons)
I prefer kambosos, I think. Probably less skilled, but more reliable, I guess. Caterall was pretty irregular during the fight.
Catterall's win is better when you compare the fights. He controlled the entire first half of the fight, knocked Taylor down hard in the 8th, only really took his foot off the gas a little in the last 4 rounds. He outlanded him in total punches, 120 vs 73, a CLEAR disparity. Kambosos had a good win as well but that fight was closer. He only scored a flash knockdown at the end of the 1st, a round where he was getting thoroughly beat up by Teofimo. Also, there were periods in that fight where Teofimo was doing damage, including when Kambosos got knocked down by Teofimo later in the fight, whereas Taylor never really hurt Catterall. The total punch margin in Teofimo-Kambosos was also reflective of its competitiveness: Kambosos only having a very slight advantage of 182 vs 176 (and Lopez actually being the more accurate puncher, with a percentage of 31% compared to Kambosos' 25%). Catterall beat up Taylor worse than Kambosos did to Teofimo.
