The DAZN Card should have been moved to a Friday to ensure the 2 dozen subscribers including me can sleep well tonight after watching Hurricane Hatton and Jack Catterall.
I'll ask again. A boxer who has pretty much fought on the road his whole career all of a sudden sells 2000 tickets? Back it up
I remember reading it somewhere. He did sell 2000 tickets for the sold-out Taylor fight where he would have had a very limited allocation. With his raised profile and him headlining not too far away from Chorley, and no ticket restrictions, it seems a reasonable number. Either way, facts are that this mediocre card has sold 6-7 thousand tickets. That’s a huge number in the modern market in the UK.
Any decent card in Liverpool is sold out. The Black Curtain will be in attendance tomorrow evening. May have a flick to channel 429 on Sky during the fights on Sky Sports.
So again. You said he sold 2000 tickets for this fight. Back it up or stop spouting nonsense. Also he sold 2000 for Taylor? Again prove it. By your own words he had limited allocation so how did he shift 2000 unless he has 2000 to shift?
Heard that Jack sold about 20 tickets for that fight in Scotland exceeding Zach Parker who had 7 fans when he fought on the undercard when Taylor became World Champion against Baranchyk.
It's an absolutely ridiculous number. Hearn goes completely soft talking about Johnny Fisher selling fewer tickets than that so wouldn't he be shouting from the rooftops if someone else did? Particularly a not-that-well-known fighter with a not-that-friendly style like Catterall? It would be an utter triumph and clearly isn't.
