    Damn! Linares was having a solid round, landed several hard rights, but got stunned late with a hook. Jack followed up, but couldn't land much clean.

    I like Linares but at this stage he is way past it. Guys are using his name as a stepping stone to sell fight.

    Hopefully Linares calls it a career after this one and retires with just four straight losses to end his career. He´s pretty much a journeyman these days.

    I wouldn't say Linares is completely shot but he's definitely a shadow of his former self. I don't like to see fighters of his quality extend their careers too far and essentially become gatekeepers for up and comers to beat.
