I'd think a Marciano/Dempsey fight is about as close to a 50/50 fight as you can get.

True. Marciano has him beat easily in the stamina department & probably power too. Still, the speed & relentless pressure that Jack had just might catch Rocky early.

My Grandfather was Jack d sparing partner( Jankin Thomas)from SLC utah, and have had manny talks with my father about this, the Klitschko brothers are to big to fast to powerful and would have dominated any of the W HW's in the history of boxing, Jack putting on a better show maybe one thing, but in the ring the Klitschko's by a mile.

The rock was brought along carefully..in spite of this he was rocked and hurt on several occassions. To argue that archie moore could almost ko marciano..but dempsey couldn't? Also as for the dempsey mma thing...dempsey had a black belt in judo and also trained in catch as catch can submission wrestling.
