Reznick posted this last year but it was in pretty low quality. I've been obsessed with Hanza's Dempsey defense highlights and this clip stands out to me, as well as clips of Dempsey doing the walk away. Highly recommend it (though i imagine most posters here keep up with Hanza)

    Canelo vs Jacobs comparisons, anyone?

From a scared guy who was primarily interested in backing away and was just spitting out jabs to create distance. The right he probably hoped to actually lan. Tunney actually achieved his desired result here.

Strange seeing Dempsey on the defence for a change

This is why it becomes hard to evaluate Dempsey in H2H fantasy matches. He really knew how to box well, but so often seemed to throw it away in favour of brutalizing his opponents in a straightforward manner. He's Holyfieldesque in many ways.

Yeah, at his best he was like a panther, stalking his prey and suddenly exploding in, then working inside of he needed to. He would get careless as you said, though, especially when he got lazy after the title.

I thought Canelo did it cleaner, but Jacobs is far from Gene Tunney
