Im not saying he NEVER had a hoarse voice. He may have been hoarse five minutes after the fight for all I know. But it wasnt a lasting condition. You can say its foolish all you want but I have plenty of audio of him from a workout record he made at one time to campaign footage of him giving speeches at rallies and his voice is clear as a bell and like I said before sounding somewhat like JFK. Its funny that you have one short clip taken from when Tunney was older yet you act incredulous that I refute what you say saying I cant back it up when I have plenty of audio that does just that. Whatever, if you want to believe Tunney spoke like Don Corleone for the rest of his life after fighting Dempsey then you can believe what you want.

Sorry, missed this. The audio they use for the fight in this recording is taken from a 1936 nbc tenth anniversary broadcast which had a recreation of the fight.

The actual audio of the second Dempsey Tunney fight does exist but includes no pre or post fight and only seconds of in between rounds.

Your not refuting me, your refuting Tunney's own words. In addition, you have a poor bedside manner that should be worked on for your own benefit.
