Capablanca apparently was second to none at speed chess, even up to his last days alive when his title was long gone. This man was awesome and in my biased opinion, would've made Morphy wee his panties.

Capablanca was there or thereabouts in terms of pure ability, no doubt. Whatever "makes" a chess mind he might have been the ultimate until Fischer/Karpov/Kasparov came along. Kasparov is the ultimate modern chess mind in that his grasp of the sharpest points of opening theory has never been equalled.

Lightheavy Hopkins is a 185 muscular pounds (a "heavyweight" in Dempsey's day), yet a absolute shitload more skillful And smart than crude caveman slugger Dempsey is. Video evidence shows Dempsey did not even know how to throw a jab! Hopkins takes Dempsey to school like Tunney did, & walks away with a Whitewash UD. :deal

    Foreman Hooooooooooooooooooooooook! :smoke

I predict that Dempsey will come forward, resulting in a small clash with Hopkins, which pushes him onto the ropes. Hopkins cries and goes down to the canvas, pointing at his back "aint no brother can't continue with those ropes burns yo, i was fouled". He keeps sitting there and claims to the ring doctor he can't continue. Fight is declared a TD although Hopkins was aiming for a DQ win. Then all Hopkins fans claim he was "winning" and that "he needs to move on to bigger things".

Not sure many have said this about the Dawson fight. Considerably less than those that have claimed he looked for a way out because of what 'Bad' (and he deserves that moniker, he's ****) Chad was doing in that short space of time:nut

Hopkins has only weighed above 175lbs for ONE fight, his first for which he came in at 177lbs, and lost.:patsch

He's 185+ in the ring, he cuts to 175 to make weight, he's a 185lb man, at 160 he was a 170lb man
