    Lot has to do with the gloves. In Dempsey day the thumb was looser and you could kind of grip an opponents arm to steer him. Dempsey was great inside, reminds me of Duran. If he could hold a little so his opponent can’t escape his opponent would be in trouble, Dempsey had the foot speed to close the distance. I see him putting his face into Charles’s chest and staying there all fight long kind of like Marciano and mauling out a decision. He knocks out Walcott, he also has chance to bomb out Schmeling but if Schmeling could last past the first 4, he could catch and hurt Dempsey who sometimes fell short on his rushes and could be out of position. Spinks could win too, but Dempsey could also knock him out. Interesting fight.
