Burt - i can verify every statement i made from reputable books on Dempsey. Can you refute thw indictments from those works?

I know a hell of a lot more about young Dempsey than you think...The damn thread asks ,"Jack Dempsey v Mike Tyson " ? Who wins ? So why the heck do you have to bring up his character assassination ? Any one else on ESB would give their opinion who would win...But you S have to ALWAYS besmirch Jack Dempsey as a human being EVEN when his character has zilch to do with the question of WHO would win between Dempsey and Tyson...And like the elephant in the room, you don't even hint at the vicious street thug that was the Mike Tyson, who bit off the ear of a decent man like Holyfield...The irony of it all galls me ,but you nice guy that you might be, cannot see the forest from the trees.
Every time I answer a thread about Tyson against any fighter in a fantasy fight I don't try to bring him down because of his horrendous acts outside the ring...But I hate no fighter and don't repeatedly try to disparage Tyson as you do Dempsey time and again....Let Dempsey rest in peace as he has daughters still with us.

 

P.S. I am not on trial and Dempsey at this moment cannot answer. Why don't you direct your wrath on Tyson on occasion ? He is a bit more deserving of your "indictments" than the dead and decent man that was Jack Dempsey...Grrrrr....
