No I didn’t. & Dempsey has his explanation for the Flynn loss, too. But if I play it your way, we’ll be swimming in denial & excuses.

You’re confusing FACTS with excuses. The fact that you had to reach for the Moorer loss ( a solid number one contender btw ) says a lot.

Well he was division champion, so yes, that’s the definition of prominence. He was one of several that makes a mockery of your claim about Moorer. & I wouldn’t be throwing stones about who Dempsey beat to win the title if your horse is Holyfield, champ.

It was a cheeky jab since you brought up LHW’s. I don’t hold it too strongly against Holyfield. Just playing with your apparent deep offense at the notion Dempsey would drop Holyfield like a bad habit. Like Cooper did.

Is it a fact that Cooper was a crack addicted career quitter who never won a meaningful fight in his life?

And Luis Firpo knocked your man out of the ring for which he needed help getting back in. And the great Fireman knocked him out completely. But why let fact get in the way of a good retort, eh Ney?

No it isn’t fact. Those who saw him fight Ray Mercer, Michael Moorer and several others would say that he actually had quite a bit of heart. And he very clearly clean and in shape for the Holyfield fight . As for meaningful wins he was on a good streak going into Holyfield.

He’s not, “my man,” he’s simply the fighter I picked to win this fight. You were, “inspired,” by Holyfield…good for you. It’s clear this is a severe emotional subject for you.

Holyfield beat not one but THREE men to win the heavyweight title, my man. And two of those included Mike Tyson and Rifdick Bowe. As for the other he was admittedly in atrocious shape but he also wasn’t coming fresh out of a three year retirement without even a tuneup. Quite reversely he was coming off one of the biggest wins in heavyweight history !!!

So it’s a lie, is it? Cooper wasn’t a crack addict. He won meaningful fights. He never quit.

Do you work for MSNBC? You should :D

He won a belt vs Tyson, let’s not talk BS. He’s a two-time legitimate World Champion at HW, though, “legitimate,” is a strong word for a serial PED abuser.

That’s not what I said dude. He did have drug problems. Was he on drugs or not in shape at the TIME he fought Holyfield ? Did you even see his fights with some of the guys I’ve mentioned ? They were absolute wars. Spinning words sounds like you’re a fan of CNN, the New York Times AND MSNBC

He won the WBC AND WBA against Tyson. And you know what ? He didn’t need loaded gloves to win that title !!! Isn’t that something ?
