I'm pretty sure, there's never been a world champ, in ANY division, who could run 100 meters in 10 seconds! Which really has nothing to do with anything. Joe Frazier was shockingly unathletic, and pretty much sucked at everything physical. Except, of course, boxing - which is all that matters here.
You're completely missing the point. Outside of his status as a top fighter at heavyweight, what has Andy Ruiz exhibited to suggest he's athletic? He can't run fast, he can't jump high, and he isn't strong for his size.
You're right, not 10 seconds but definitely a competitive time is what I mean't. Idk why I was thinking of 10 seconds. Saw that Jeffries had done it I think. However I don't think Ruiz would be competitive at all running against most boxers. I agree with the rest and if you look at what I was responding to you'll see that I didn't bring up athleticism and I actually have been arguing that it isn't a requirement to be a top fighter. However it helps.
Yes, I get what you mean. I believe the Jeffries claim was 100 YARDS in 10 sconds - which, if true (most people doubt it), is still very fast!
Meehan lost pretty much every time he stepped up. Beating a far past it Langford doesn't help his case much.
