We have no idea just how good Joshua is so it's very hard to say. I've no qualms favouring Dempsey over Wlad but I honestly am unsure whether Joshua is gonna be just another belt holder or whether he's gonna be the GOAT.
AJ has a monstrous size advantage. If his chin is worth anything he gives Dempsey all sorts of problems and may even stop him.
It's hard to say if Joshua is any good. His opposition has been mostly poor journeymen and worse. Dillian Whyte might be his best win, and I think Whyte is possibly a tough gatekeeper type.
Yep. Joshua has the right attitude, so I think we can expect to improve his entire game going into this fight. From what I've seen he's nowhere near as good a boxer as Wladimir .... yet. If Wladimir is anywhere near what he used to be, he should beat AJ at this stage of AJ's development, quite comfortably. But I have seriously doubts over Wladimir, at 41 coming off a long lay off and a loss. It might be a case of an old fighter hanging around one fight too long.
Exactly. This is a fight where I will 100% know if I'm right or not. No point pitting him in fantasy fights as that relies upon a currently dynamic opinion.
I happen to think that Joshua is going to be the business, but the evidence has not caught up with me yet.
gonna be interesting. i'm favouring wlad over Joshua atm, not like Joshua's gonna replicate what fury did, doubt i'll bet on that tho. Dempsey ko.
Aj hasn't really been around to long I think tu truly answer this. We no how good jack was , what his strength s were, what his weaknesses were. We saw what he could do against all levels of opposition over a period of time. We'll no more of aj in a few more years and fights time. Till then at least it's dempsey by ko for me
Dempsey would have to undraw the color line. The truth is that we have very little knowledge of how Joshua fares against the calibre of boxer and fighter that Dempsey was, and little of the same regarding how Dempsey could do against the calibre of athlete and boxer that Joshua is.
