    What if we had a similar number and duration of Joe Louis's fights to judge him by?

    We would obviously be missing out on a lot.

    So Roach is making a statement about something that he hasn't actually seen. At least he isn't going off on a homophobic mma tirade i guess.

    I love how people are acting like Dempsey is some technical boxer or something who had all guns in his arsenal. In fact, it was the exact opposite of that, and he lacked quite a bit of technical firepower. I see Toney winning a comfortable decision, but would take some heavy shots from Dempsey and lose some rouds cause of Dempsey work rate.. Problem is, Dempsey couldn't keep up such a workrate.

    Dempsey would win, but it wouldn't be easy. Toney was a middle & super-middle. He wasn't that great when he was heavier than that. Period.
