Jack Dempsey vs Jersey Joe Walcott

    I know this had to be done before but take the Walcott of the Louis & Marciano 1 fight (which I think is prime) vs the Dempsey of the Willard/Firpo fights (which I think is prime.....Prime versions of both men over 12-15 rounds....how does it go

    Well,I'm a huge Dempsey fan ,but Walcott had the potential to give ANY man fits, Reg Gutteridge ,a writer I respect, thought that Walcott would have been Ali's toughest oponent.
    I think Jack catches Joe eventually ,but may find himself on the floor before he does so.

    Huge fan of both.
    Eventually Dempsey gets to Jersey Joe.

    I like them both, too...but I have to go with Jack on this one.
