So what you're saying is in theory it would hurt but you have no proof that it did in reality. Gotcha :good Mr.koolkevin provided evidence for his claim. Something which you have not.
People are so lost. There is an alternative view of Sharkey on the canvas after the ko blow. Although it appears he may be grabbing at his body in the video we should all know the alternative view shows that he more than likely was trying to use his arms to push himself off the canvas but could not do so. Dempsey landed three right uppercuts to Sharkeys body. Three very quick consecutive right uppercuts. You can see very clearly the first two but not the third. However Dempsey does not change his arm or shoulder positioning NOR does he have the time to do so. These were very quick short blows followed in rapid sucession. The first two right on the belt line. Understand the beltline is an imaginary line that joins the hip ones NOT the beltline of the trunks. The referee who was feet from both fighters and in clear position to see that last punch ADAMANTLY stated the punches were NOT LOW. Dempsey received an ovation from the crowd unmatched in boxing history after the bout. It was a stunning one punch ko that electrified those attending. I went to Soldier field a few years ago and tried to imagine all those thousands of people screaming at the top of there lungs.....the whole of Chicago must have heard when that ko blow landed in 1927.
What part of curled up in a ball on the canvas clutching his ******* did you not understand. Are you actually telling me a blast to the ballz only hurts 'in theory '. ?:huh Whats going on around here:-(
frazier destroys dempsey. stronger, bigger, heavier, more powerful, better chin, tougher mind, more heart etc etc
I'm saying he didn't get punched in the ballz at all. He got punched in the hip at the very most. His trunks were high so it gives the illusion that the punch was lower than it really was.
Quite obviously no punches of that three punch sequence landed anywhere near Sharkeys *****. Three very short very rapid right uppercuts to the beltline.
