Mainly because the majority of 22-year-olds on this forum have only ever seen the Ruiz vs. tua bout, and have never even seen Dempsey fight.

Anyone with a computer has probably seen Dempsey fight. Not modernized IMO, but ferocious and powerful enough to take Ruiz out, and his Dempsey roll was a pretty useful tool by any standards.

 

Not only does Ruiz suck. Dempsey is one of the greatest fighters ever. My Grandfather and his older brother had a chance to watch Dempsey train. They said the sparring sessions were like releasing a wild animal on an infant. They guy was fast, strong and viscious as hell.

Willard was 6'6.5" with a 5" reach advantage and weighed 245 when he fought Dempsey. How did that workout for him?
