    It could certainly play out that way. But if Shavers can close in, guarantee, with a little luck, Dempsey can too. The luck *might* not even be needed.

    I suspect that Dempsey would have got to Holmes and stopped him eventually.

    Holmes probably isn't strong enough to keep him off, or elusive enough to keep away from him.

    You'd probably have to favour Holmes on pedigree but I keep seeing this in my mind:

    Guaranteed if Snipes could do it, Dempsey has every chance too. This could be closer to 50-50 than people think.
