  13. funny because many tyson fans think that i am a tyson hater....(obviously is not my hero) but really i like tyson, really i was impressed of the way that he annihilated berbick. simply i express my opinion, honestly i think that he took Punishment, i never said that he had a bad chin. but he did not have the iron chin that his fans are Insinuating. i would love to see tyson taking shots from real punchers like foreman,shavers,baer,liston,marciano,louis.. or even lyle, cooney, morrison and other guys

For someone who says he's not a Tyson hater you sure seem to go out of your way to contradict that.

But most arguments that you start you simply fail to recognize that maybe, perhaps maybe you got it wrong. I have conceded in arguments where I'm wrong when I'm proved wrong. But you have never done that nor do you plan to.

Lewis, Ruddock, Bonecrusher, Bruno hit harder than Morrison, Lyle, Marciano, and Louis.

Cooney and Liston are probably on par

Only Foreman, Shavers likely hit harder than the above bunch. That's it.

You claim that Tyson was stopped 5 times, but when I give you an example of Holyfield you discount it and say oh it wasn't a true KO because "he wasn't KO for account"

Tyson Holyfield I - Tyson was stopped on his feet, so is that a KO for account? Or maybe because it's Tyson we should count it against him.

Holyfield was shot when he fought and lost to Toney but somehow Tyson losing to Mcbride counts? For the record; Tyson retired on his stool against McBride due to exhaustion when he was old and shot. He was never actually knocked down or out. Additionally he had a torn meniscus against Williams. I can bring your an article if you like.

The point you were making was that Dempsey had a better chin than Tyson, Dempsey unlike Tyson was knocked out of the ring. Dempsey was KO'd in 1 Round by Fireman Flynn and was out cold for a few minutes. Does that count?

Tyson unlike Dempsey faced much bigger punchers during his career and continued fighting until the age of 38. Dempsey retired at 32 so the additional 6 years would have made a difference if Dempsey continued.

Bottom line: Tyson had an iron chin that was battle tested, he was never let down by his chin in any fight rather he was let down by his defense and conditioning. Any fighter can get KO'd if they are hit enough times. Tell you what, pick any heavyweight champion in history and take the fight that you think would compare to the in terms of punishment sustained and compare it to the damage Tyson took in his fight with Douglas.

You may find less than a handful, but mark my words you certainly won't find Jack Dempsey in there.
