Usyk is a bigger, more athletic Tunney (with some Calzaghe mixed in) so I think the result is apparent.

I have been calling Usyk a pound for pound talent for years.

His chin by the way is excellent. At 6’3 inches tall with a 78 inch reach, and world class boxing and conditioning skills, hes tough for anyone under 200 pounds to beat.

 

Not a novice. A star amater and star pro who beat the best in their primes. A rarity.

Dempsey fans need to get real. Meehan made him look bad, and Tunney made him look really bad.

So did Sharkey until he was fouled.

Usyk could do the same.

 

Dempsey had the power, speed and fleet feet to make this a whole other fight compared to the Gassiev one. I think this is really a styles clash and I haven't really sat down and compared them properly. At a glance I think I favour Dempsey, but that could change I guess.

 

you will never get real, a man with 14 fights is a at least green in anyones book.

 

What has the number of fights got to do with anything? Shouldn't it be about how good the fighters are?

Would Usyk, Lomachenko, Inoue, Bivol be any better today, if they had padded their records with an additional 20 fights against cans?
