Are both allowed to build their resumes on has beens, hayseeds and hypejobs?

Bowe could chop down all of Dempsey's opponents within a year. How is this an equitable standard of comparison when one guy fights Firpo's and Carpentier's and another takes on Holy 3 times?

I've never been that sold on Bowe. His leaky defence is going to be a problem against a guy as fast and hard hitting as Dempsey. This is a lot closer than people think it is, and I'd give JD a good chance to win.

I really really like Bowe. But again very hard for me to pick against Jack so I'm going with him.

Gut reaction is Bowe, but the way he liked to mix it up on the inside makes me think I should give Dempsey a better chance of pulling it off. The combination of Bowe being very hittable and Dempsey being a great puncher keeps this fight interesting throughout.

Dempsey never saw a 6'5 235 lbr with a good uppercut and jab? Willard's best punch was the uppercut and he killed a guy. Bowe's major problem is his inability to use his height effectively like a Lennox Lewis or Wlad Klitschko did. I'm not saying jab and grab but just keeping guys on the outside. He was pretty bad at it. He got into unnecessary wars with Holyfield because of it, Bert Cooper saw major success in the first round because of it. Many more examples too.

Bert Cooper had nothing in common with Dempsey except a left hook. One was a crackhead the other was the heavyweight champion of the world. Cooper barely moved his head against Bowe, throws wide telegraphed punches that are slow too. Also, it took Bowe 2 full rounds to knock Cooper out. Not "one round basically".

    Dempsey KO 2

Bowe has the best win of the two, but he still only has one good win.

You criticize Dempsey for missing two key contenders, but the ones that Bowe missed, would probably fill a mini bus!

If you mean Holy, Bowe beat him twice so that makes best 2 wins. Even by your logic.

Wouldn't call the last Holyfield fight a particularly good win. Unless you consider being down on the cards, down in the 6th, and Holy connecting on 60% of his punches to be a particularly good performance by Bowe. All while Holy was sick.

He got the job done. Jack was down against that klutz Firpo.

How exactly was Holy sick? Was he sicker than the Miske that Dempsey beat up on and cheapshotted?

Any proof that Firpo was a "Klutz"? I have to admit, your use of hyperbole is unmatched.

Holy said he had Hep A. I don't know if that's true or not but he definitely had something going on.

Did Dempsey **** your ***** or something? Why all the hostility? Maybe you're intimidated...
