Dempsey would have dumped the Garbage Man into the dumpster within 7 rounds.

Why? Who has Dempsey beaten who had the power skills strength uppercut combination punching inside fighting ability of a prime Bowe?

Dempsey is giving up a massive size difference..and when you take into account Bowe was highly skilled for his size unlike Fulton and Willard...then Dempsey could be in for some big trouble

Any good 185lb fighter could beat 37 year old Willard Fulton and firpo...its not that impressive . It doesn't mean he could beat a highly skilled big punching 6-5 235lb Heavyweight

Dempsey had leaky defense and made a lot of technical errors . He stuck his chin out a lot kept low hands...had a lot of trouble with straight punches ...and his head movement was weak against the right hand and uppercut. He was also a skinny 185. And wasn't the most durable.

Please tell me which parts of my post you disagree with.

McVea you started this war. You're obsession with tearing down the legacy of Rocky Marciano so you could build up your man crush Jack Dempsey was quite evident.

So Dempsey is easy to hit now, and isn't durable? And the revisionist history on Dempsey continues. I will instead go by what Gene Tunney and other opponents said. In 20 rounds of fighting, Tunney said he only was able to hit Dempsey clean one time. This was the past prime version. It was also stated by opponents that Dempsey was incredibly durable and once hurt, was again dangerous and lucid within seconds. The revisionist fail continues.

Out of the 20 rounds you mention, Dempsey lost 19 of them. If Tunney was not hitting him cleanly, where was he hitting him?

Well it obviously wasn't on the chin. Not doubting the 19 rounds lost. Doesn't take away from the fact that i'm disputing, which is Dempsey wasn't simply easy to hit cleanly...even the past prime version. A younger Dempsey, has better quickness and stamina. Makes a much better fight.

Right, which makes your point against a 6 foot 195lb Tunney. However, we are talking about Bowe here. How does that help Dempsey against a 6 foot 5 240lb Bowe?

Golota could outsmart your highly skilled man two times.
Willard and Firpo was better than Golota who never beat a good
fighter but he looked good against Bowe.
Plus Bowe never fought an actual hard-punching opponent.
