   Yes, Dempsey lost nearly every round against Tunney, got hurt by Brennon, got knocked out the ring by Firpo, drew against Miske first time, lost to Meehan and got knocked out by Flynn.
   
   Marciano rolled with the punches better, faced more skilled opposition disected them and made far less mistakes. Dempsey was far more reckless than Marciano.
