    One thing is certain. It WOULD be brutal. A brawl spent entirely on the inside between two guys perfectly capable of knocking the other’s block off... I voted for Marciano by stoppage

    Think a Marciano uppercut would be the finisher in a bloody spectacle. Marcianos uppercuts aren’t discussed often despite Marciano being discussed feverishly

    I picked Rocky to stop him late. I think he'd get knocked around some at the beginning of the fight, but I think Rocky wears him down as the fight goes on.

    Dempsey does everything better than Marciano imo. Besides stamina, I can't really see any Marciano advantages. Dempsey mid round KO in a WAR. Marciano is not quitting so Dempsey's gonna have to put him down and keep him down. Which is exactly what he's going to do.

    Marciano does have a more powerful right hand than Dempsey but Dempsey has a more powerful left.

    I slightly favour Dempsey due to his much quicker hands. I think his fast hands get there first, and i think Marciano wasn't tested by a power puncher at that level.

    I would never count Marciano out, however.

    That's another thing. Dempsey would be far and away not only the fastest fighter Marciano faced, but the most powerful! You can't same the same vice versa.

    Agreed. Guys like Fripo could really crack whereas Marciano didn't face a power puncher of that caliber.

    I do think Marciano has a real chance if he can weather the storm.

    Marciano beat much better fighters and didn't even remotely duck anyone. He is more battle tested at a higher level.

    The Marciano crouch will throw off the offence of Dempsey which was tried and tested against off duty Stevedores and drifters looking for a quick buck.
    The upright come forward hands down style of Dempsey was made to order for crouching Marciano
