Since the Brits are going to the polls yet again tomorrow, let's have a poll here in recognition of the former and current British heavyweights of the ring and with Jack Dempsey currently one of the most talked about boxers on the forum, let's match him against all the former and current British world title holders. Which of those brits on the poll would be able to beat a prime Dempsey?
My opinion none of them. Lewis and Fury have the best chance. I happen to have a very high opinion of Jack. Just my opinion though
Lewis .Bruno if he could land a big shot early.Fury if he could keep moving and box on the back foot.AJ ? to early to say?
I agree with you and I think the main reason they stand the best chance is because of their size! Fury is taller than Willard and knows how to use his reach, Lewis was great at using his reach, I feel Dempsey`s arms would be too short to land on Lewis who had too much power for Dempsey to rush in the way he did with Willard. These fights would actually be like a catchweight fight between a cruiser and 2 super heavyweights, I feel they may be too big and both of them would have toyed with Willard.
Except for fitz Dempsey by massacre.... These guys are good but big targets to a Dempsey...Walcott trained would take these guys apart...thanks....problem with Walcott was lack of training and sometimes not that confident
