This content is protected Every highlight reel of this fight I've seen on YouTube has been from the chopped up (when it comes to rounds) Jim Jacobs version rather than what appears to be the full fight here; This content is protected I also noticed these other highlights of the fight don't really try to adjust the speed so I made a few tweaks to it in my video; zooming in and trying my best to (very crudely) adjust the speed so that what the fighters are doing is more visible. You can still probably get a more accurate speed in the youtube settings lol It was a dull fight to watch for the most part but it is arguably Jack's best performance from a technical perspective. He worked well with his jab in the later rounds, surprised he doesn't use it nearly as often in his other fights.
really well done. Excellent job. I haven't seen this fight in years. Even though Dempsey's trainer was highly critical of his performance here, i thought he did a good jab using his jab.

Teddy Hayes had a major falling out with Dempsey and was very biased and bitter towards him. He was aligned with Jack Kearns and sued Dempsey. He also had an interesting love triangle with Dempsey involving a woman. It is all covered in my book, In the Ring With Jack Dempsey - Part III.
