You can get swept up in the group think. Nostalgia is great but gives a rose-tinting to a lot of perspectives. Classic is still 1000X better than general for talking and analyzing boxing. And this isn't the worst example. Wlad does terrible with pressure. But I do think he should be favored against Dempsey.
Not everyone on the Classic picked Dempsey, Dempsey obviously beat a man of similar size but nowhere near the skill of Wlas. And has an aggressive style, which if he was more powerful/stronger may work against Wlad, I don't think he's good enough at slipping the jab and I don't think he's durable enough hence I picked Wladdy to dominate

Hey, you know what happened every time Dempsey fought a tall, heavy guy like you keep praising. He brutally knocked them the **** out.
