No idea why I said, "Jeanette looks better." What does that even mean?

For guys closing in on 70 they look very good. I'd be lucky to be so mobile at that age, and my life expectancy is a good 30 years higher than theirs.

Now for the million dollar question: who takes it between the Holmes that beat Butterbean and the Johnson that beat Pat Lester over 15 (!) rounds?

Jeanette's mobility and speed looks impeccibable, but he fought too much bareknuckle style, hands lows, etc..........I like jack johnsons styles much better

You can't weigh too much on their respective prime styles here.

Johnson's stance for a start, you can see, suffers with his advanced years.

Jeanette was a quick and active boxer with good circular/lateral movement and a spearing jab.

Why sad? They look terrific for 70, great skills, setting traps, lateral side stepping, I reckon even in that condition, they'd whoop a few pros today over 1round or 4rounds (make it someone smaller say a MW to adjust for lost strength)

Jeanette looked real quick for his age would be great if there was footage of him in his prime.

    what??? sad???

these guys are 67 and 71..............and look fit as ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there are tons of 35 to 45 year old walking around the streets today who wouldnt last two rounds with either!!!!!

and they could still do this after their long and HARD careers.

if anything, this puts a HUGE SMILE on my face. really happy that both showed no ill effects and were in such tremendous shape.
